To Make This Recipe You’Il Need The Following Ingredients:
1 Pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 Teaspoon olive oil
8 C. fat free chicken broth
3 Large carrots, chopped
3 Celery stalks, chopped
1 Small yellow onion, finely chopped
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 Teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 Teaspoon dried rosemary
1 Teaspoon dried dill
4 Ounces egg noodles
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
1/4 C. fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
HOW TO MAKE:
Combine all ingredients except the egg noodles and parsley in a slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6TO8 hrs. Remove chicken and chop.
Add egg noodles, parsley and lemon juice to slow cooker, and cook until noodles are tender, about 10TO15 mins. Return chicken to slow cooker, and serve.
